Sorry for holding the turn. Came home after a busy evening yesterday and switched off
Also, I'm going to be on holiday 31 January to 9 February. I will have my laptop with me and will keep playing, but play times will be less predictable than usual

Based on a few things I've seen so far, I think this game is turning out more like a test of the map after all. It's also stupidly slow for a 5-player PBEM - partly because of turn playing pace but also significantly because it's on normal speed. I'm feeling kind of disappointed because it's not really accomplishing what I'd hoped, which was to test the trait balance in the mod so we can make a couple tweaks and continue on with life.
That's not to say I find the game to be screwed up. My position is interesting, in a masochistic way, and normally I'd be all over that. But my enthusiasm is muted because I'd much rather be playing in a game that's testing the mod, than in a slow, normal-speed PBEM with what seems to be a random map. I'm kind of interesting in seeking a replacement.
How's the game going for everyone else?

I'm not really involved too much, but yeah, I don't think this game is a good tool to evaluate the mod.
