FYI: I will be posting in the tech thread that I think it is time to concede the game to SutOxy. I'm just struggling too much to play the turns, and I feel that DMOC dropping out seals the fate of the game. If one of you guys wants to take over as turn player, let me know now so I don't post that. Otherwise I'll do so tonight or tomorrow.

I'm not sure how much traction this will get. I chatted with Suttree today and he thinks that B4ndit still feels like he can win, and apparently Bisons just won the Lib race, but I figure we might as well get the conversation started. If there are others who want to keep playing, I will keep playing. If it weren't for my RL time constraints, I would still be enjoying this game very much myself.
Nevermind. DMOC asked that I hold off a bit longer.

I have a little time to give an update this morning. We haven't had a new turn since Sunday, but I haven't given an update about the actual game for even longer.
The Northeast:  I still have some room to expand here. That settler southeast of Constant Pauses was originally supposed to settle a city in the west near Aivoturso. However, talks about how to share the land stalled, so I sent him to go settle the fish city instead. Well, yesterday Aivo conceded to my settling plan, so now I'm not sure whether to turn that settler around, or still settle the fish and build a new settler for the west elsewhere. I also plan on settling the grass hill 3 east 1 north of Cuzco. The Southeast:  More room to expand down here. There's the jungle rice city/clams city. I'm not sure if I want to settle the desert hill 3 east 2 north of Rainy XMas, or the grass hill 4 east of the city. Either way, I'd be stranding the grass copper, so maybe there is a different location I should consider? The Southwest:  This is the area Aivo and I were debating. As a compromise to the former uMgung area (you can see the ruins west of the copper), I offered to settle on the iron. But Aivo was holding firm that he was going to settle on top of the ruins, making the iron city pretty useless for me. Finally, he just agreed to settle the hill southwest of the ruins, and let me pop borders first to use the wheat to grow a bit, so now I do want to get a settler back over here ASAP. The Northwest:  I guess I could expand to the tundra up here too, but that's not a main priority at this point. I'm fighting to try to get cultural control back of Bulawayo's first ring, and slowly making progress. Nobamba actually popped to third ring borders just a couple turns before I took the city, so he doesn't have too much built-up culture there. Cities:  Lots of forge builds. You can see I still have lots of surplus happy in most of my cities, so I'm definitely prioritizing food tiles over hammers at this point. I also need to get a lot of settlers out, but I don't want to stop growing yet! Demos:

Just a really quick update in case anyone is still interested in this game.
SuttOxy DOW'ed Arkipeller and took a city this turn (which I played sometime last week, that's how slowly we're moving). DMOC is gearing up to attack Bisons. I am going to gift my army over to Aivoturso next turn, but Classical_Hero is completing Machinery next turn so Aivo won't get anywhere in a war against him.
