no, this will be my first GA.
I'll switch into bureau, OR and probably Caste, as well - it's time I started growing more and whipping less.
Some time ago, I got buddhism, so I want to spread that around some, as well.
Yuris - probably 10+ turns, after I get some infra in. I'm heading to Lit now, to pick up HE.

In my GA, I got a bunch of techs, including harbors - this is a great map for harbors - a huge amount of my commerce is from trade routes - I'm getting 7 or 8 gpt from my top trade routes.
I'll post some more pics next turn - I got paper and am nearly to engineering, which i should be able to use in trades for techs like feudalism, drama, optics, etc.
I'm gearing up to take out yuris - molach will be after that.

well, it's been better.
I've been prepping for an attack on Yuris, but I took a look at Molach's power, which has been rising, and he's about to hit me with a stack of knights. Which I can't really defend against. I'm almost certainly going to lose at least one city - I might be able to hold for a turn or two, enough to get units over, but I'm going to have to switch back to slavery, and whip whip whip.
I mean, I can beat him back with interior lines, pikes and cats, but it's going to be painful.

boy, I've been bad about updating.
There was no blood flow - I think Molach got attacked, so he pulled back. I picked up Guilds and so I've been upgrading my HA to knights and I'm going to put Yuris out of his misery. or, of course, weaken myself enough for Molach to finish me off.

So, quite a while ago, I announced that I was going to attack Yuris. Then Molach showed up with 10 knights in a border town, so I had to stop that and cover my ass.
Then he got attacked and I got to LB and pikes so I felt safe enough to back after Yuris.
I moved in a couple of turns ago.
This was the opposing forces:
10 seige and a ton of hitters.
There are two more praets on that galley, plus another knight and 2 cats coming up.
he hit me with a bunch of flanking knights, but they mainly all died and thus didn't do much damage to my cats. Yuris has really had terrible RNG luck.
His attack did this:
He lost 7 knights and a cat, and withdrew one knight, killing nothing. Which has to be frustrating for him.
I took the city easily, losing 2 cats and a praet.
I think he's basically gassed, so the rest is just rolling him up.

wow - I haven't updated this in a long time.
The game is basically at a "screw around until one of the big boys comes for me" stage. I have a couple of frigates hanging out as an advanced screen for his transports.
he has an aircraft carrier hanging out, along with destroyers.
I may go atack Molach to give us both something to do.
I'm honestly just happy I've made it this far. I don't think it was skill - more luck than anything.
