Of course OTOH the first turn takes longer so I don't see any problem in people taking his sweet time at the start.
Wow, low blow...
Nobody notice anything...

I don't think he played before the reload. If he did it must have been just before the reload, because I checked the game frequently and didn't see him settle or end turn.

Luckily my capital already fits the criteria. Settling on corn best move confirmed!
So, I tried the natnag fix, but I'm unsure if I did it right. Is there any way for me to test this?

I will be on holiday next week. My laptop may be able to handle this game in the early stages, I will test it when the next turn comes. If not, I will need a lurker to move my scout for a few turns

I talked to him on PM, he said he was moving this weekend and only had like a spare minute to play. Probably just forgot to do it in the panic.
I also talked to REM just now, who said he just got back late tonight and I guess is gonna play in the morning?
That just leaves Tasunke, who said he was still going to play PB27 in his PB25 thread but... the turn remains...

Yeah August is a bad month to start a game. Best time is early September after US colleges have start but before European universities have started. Holidays and all that don't help either.

Easiest way to test it is to try connecting at the same time as someone else. So just post here at some point when you are available to log into the game and then I'll (or anyone else available) try to log in while you are connected. I'm available for this test anytime between now and the next 14 hours.

Sorry for the delay, all smooth now. One thing I noticed is that Civstats has listed us as having a 127 turn limit? Is that an error on putting the details into Civstats or has Civstats plucked stuff from the game and this has somehow accidentally happened?

That is what the timer was set for on the first turn to give everyone the entire weekend (plus) to get in their first turn. It will revert to the normal amount when the turn rolls.
Btw, if TheWannabe has his password in his thread, could a lurker press the button for him? That way we don't have to wait another 1hr 45min for the turn to roll on it's own.
EDIT: Ignore my first sentence. Just realized you said Turn Limit and not Turn Timer.
