Greasemonkey script to avoid spoiler threads

Use Firefox. I trust Chrome increasingly less and less as it continues to expand Google's data gobbling empire.

I'm a weird Opera holdout, but I'm familiar with its tricks and limitations, and wouldn't recommend starting new with it these days, it's just too far behind.

Firefox is just as good as Chrome but has been sadly slowly leaking users for the last several years. I do use Chrome because I often need more than one browser, but Chrome definitely has weaknesses like an extremely slow startup time and generally more memory usage per tab.

Script doesnt work with the latest build of FF

Can't install the script on Chrome AFAIK the installation of extensions from outside of the official Chrome Web Store has been blocked completly.

I think you may need to use Tampermonkey (tampermonkey.net) to run it on Chrome. That works for me, anyway.

Looks like the forum/theme upgrade breaks the script: it only shows the toggle on unread threads for me.

... but it still appears to be working for me on the EitB 48 threads I already set up on the old forums.

Upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit windows erased all my history, and now I have to wait for posts to happen in all the threads I want to block. What would be really handy is a complementary button to "mark forum as read": "mark forum as unread". Then I could use the latter button to enable thread blocking, block the ones I want to block, and then mark them as read again.
