Ah yes, I've seen that before. Anyway, I really don't see a reason not to move our warrior onto the forest.

Thanks BGN. Will indeed not make a difference now (I didn't realize we would have 90% odds), but still good to know. Also I think everyone should have a second city and most a third, so they should be able to enter borders already.

Useful odds rules of thumb to remember...
2:1 strength ratio (chariot vs warrior) = 99% odds
3:2 strength ratio (defender in forest) = 90% odds
4:3 strength ratio (chariot vs archer) = 78% odds
5:4 strength ratio (defender on hill) = 75% odds
In Civ4, if you have even numbers, any strength difference matters a lot. And note that archers actually have one first strike which actually makes the chariot vs archer matchup worse for the chariot, but it's a useful estimate nonetheless.

We might be okay to build the settler at size 5 at Pagle instead of the worker, I am not sure...

So yeah I think we should slow build a settler in Pagle now and do a worker in the capital after the current settler finishes. The Pagle settler should align with the Pagle workers finishing their jobs nicely.

Moved the archer towards Overspark because Donovan does feel the need to put an Impi on the border...
Also I'm back at work after two weeks of being ill and don't have time to think about future plans much. The new city gets a Monument first I guess. Capital should grow after that worker I think, probably on a Granary and Archer in some order.
For Nat Pagle, maybe we should think about whipping? I'm not sure how fast we can regrow to 5, but it shouldn't take long I assume and we want to build another archer or two probably in any case for the next cities. I hate to put so many hammers in those units, but our neighbours are being dicks about just letting us build in peace. Probably should get Catapults and Axes and wipe them off the face of the earth...

BAD! You grouped the workers and almost wasted a worker turn. Always cancel worker groupings after assigning work! I logged in before the turn roll and caught it though. Next turn we finish the rice road and then have one worker do half the road on the horse and cancel. Turn after next the other worker shifts to finish the horse road while the more southerly worker can road 2S of Pagle (and cancel so that we can keep shifting).
I don't think we should whip because the workers still have work to do. Right now we found Blingtron 3000 on t62 which is exactly when we finish the cottage on the flood plains for Pagle. The workers would then go and chop the granary for the city afterwards before building more cottages.
And it's okay, that impi worker will get bumped when our borders expand, so we only need to hang on for a few more turns. And later we kill everyone with knights, including the guy with impis.

Actually I think the new city should get a granary before a monument.
