As long as we can keep the Civ V bashing to a minimum, I'm down with that. Reading the lurker thread after PBEM1 ended really sucked. There are other threads in this forum for bashing Civ V. (Just look through civ general for anything with "Civilization 5" in the title.)

Edit: Also, how about actual game-related spam? Random crap isn't what they want or deserve either.

Not much, from what I read:

The Huns (a civ with an early UU that can capture cities, and since it replaces a spearman you can get one from a goody hut)
The Pyramids (an extremely powerful ancient wonder on quick speed)
Desert Folklore (apparently the best religious thingummy)
Diplomatic Victory (no idea why)
Spending the ridiculous amount of free gold you get from discovering El Dorado on a settler or worker (basically there is a really stupid and unfair map feature that can spawn on a random map, and you can't prevent this)
Getting Fountain of Youth inside your borders before t50 (another stupid map feature that might exist, that gives a bunch of happiness if it's in your borders IIRC)

davy banned diplomatic victory to reduce the importance of city states I imagine.

I assume they're not going to feed the map generator the same goodness that T-Hawk feeds his for his speedruns yeah?

Well, they did ban Desert Folklore, which was a big help in his latest speed runs.

'tis true, though I think in a MP game, Petra would be the bigger deal.
