We finally had enough subforums that I felt like the general Civ discussion was getting lost under all of the other forums. So, I made a new "Civ General discussion" forum and turned the original "Civ" section into a category. That way you don't have to scroll past all of the games to get to the civ general forums. You can also click directly into the reports, pitboss, or PBEM forums from the main page. It looks a little weird there since it puts "category" forums (those with subforums) next to one another, but I think it's easier to use this way.
Those of you with direct bookmarks to a particular forum might have to update. Sorry if that's the case.
Let me know how everything's working.

Does anyone play on a Mac? I'm going on vacation next week and will only have a PowerBook with me so I'm thinking about downloading the Steam Mac version. Has anyone done this before? For that matter, I've always been a traditionalist and bought games at a real life store. Any thing I should be aware of with downloading from Steam?

Great Spies may not leave your borders
_______________________________________
Settings already decided:
No Tech Trading
Events Off:
Espionage: Passive only (no spies)
Is anyone against these settings?
To be Decided:
1) Leaders:
Restriced or Unrestricted?
Snake Pick? Send choices to neutral observer? Other?
Duplicates?
Any Restrictions? (Like banning traits or forcing everyone to take a lower triat for example)
2) Out of Game Contact:
Available from the beginning? Or the PBEM 3 method? Or strictly require in-game contact?
3) Map Trading:
Allowed at all times? Or only after Paper? Or forbidden?
4) Play Order:
Please put your time in so we can get an order sorted
5) The map:
The other 2 PBEM's are 'flying blind' with no input from the players on the map type. I would be fine with that, but I could also go if we give the map makers some 'guidelines'. What does everyone think?
6) Anything Else?
