T53 northlands:





to the East, Mig sent in a 2axe/spear stack to pillage my Corn and a galley to pillage the Fish.

i thought I grabbed a screenshot, but I cant find it.  I've advanced an axe and a chariot towards his holy city to encourage him to leave.  I'd like to pull those forces north to help with capturing Gruul Smash on t60.

Whip anger means only working 3ish tiles anyway, and I'm not slowing on the whip.

To be honest Thoth I think you outplayed yourself here. Too cautious when this start needed to push at the start and too reckless when there was a risk as yuris had axes.

I don't think 5 preats will take a city from yuris now, at least in one round of fighting. They came too late.

His axes are out of position to protect his city. They're stuck keeping SeeScape.

But I agree, this hasn't been my best effort by a long shot.

2 chariots plus the axe I have fortified on his Bananna?

With some prats.....yeah. Maybe. He can either pull his army out from SeeScape or I'll be threatening his capital.

I'm looking at two bowmen in Gruul, one in the capital, and two axes (I think) in the fog. Plus whatever he whips once he sees me moving.

So up to 4 axes plus 2 bowmen if he doesn't whip a granary in Gruul before I move in. Couple of turns yet and Gruul is size 4 and his cap is back up to size 5. Gotta be tempting for him to whip out grans instead of units.
