COuldn't said two mover then take the nearby city on the corn peninsula? (Which presumably is too small and unprepared to whip defenders in the turns difference)

Is india playing clock games with us?
Its not worth it imo, i'm playing as soon as i get home. But i won't be home until the timer enda and i don't want to ask for a pause yet b/c i want to see if they are playing clock chicken

We already played last last turn so by default we get the second half if there is contention.

Just read the tech thread. I don't understand Jester's post - they'll be last to end turn and be first to play (the next turn)? Do we need arbitration here?

Also for lurker's benefit - we have purposely played after them for several turns now because we wanted to be careful here. The main reason for wanting to be after them is actually because that's been our arrangement with Commodore. At some point here Commodore will probably re-declare on us, which would result in a messy Commodore-us-Jester split of 24 hours if we didn't get into the second half. This is just much cleaner and simpler. Besides, we've been observing a split with Commodore even in peacetime too just to be safe.
This was also just really bad timing. Ideally I would've sent that message hours ago, but I got tied up. I don't expect this to be much of an issue, my experience with Nakor is he's super reasonable about turn split and being flexible.
