Turn played, no relevant pictures. Drafted DS, WH, Cf, GE and MG, even though MG does not yet have barracks. We went from #8 to #4 in power, still 400K behind first place ie dtay. I'm torn between drafting every city right now, even though a good few will not have 2XP due to no religion, and stacking drafts in a few cities that do. I think the former is probably best because we can do with the units atm.
Out of GA we are 4th in MFG, crop yield and soldiers, but 6th in GNP at breakeven, dtay Astro due in 2. I suspect our effective MFG is closer to #2 and less than 100 beneath dtay in first due to PS effect not being counted. Max bpt is 1300, -500gpt. Breakeven 60%, +750bpt, -10gpt.

Turn mostly played, just need to wait until after dtay plays his turn for real before moving the scouts by him. He continues to devour Pindicator. We can get Steel eot T170 with no gold saved. Traded TBS 210 gold for 24gpt, because we can afford it. I think we could consider trading gold for gpt after Steel to everyone we can. Should draft MG, Plano, FM, one of the island west coast cities, CL and maybe not a fifth city this turn.

Played most of turn. dtay not played, just waiting on him to move before moving scouts next to him again. Steel in 2, running 100% tech this turn then saving gold next turn. OldTourist have Chem and Astro. dtay obsoletes the Colossus eot. Got 5 drafts in. 3/4th in power. If this game doesn't get a move on any reservations I had about starting a new game soon is going to disappear.

dtay lost a load of units to Pindicator, bunch of GG have been generated this turn. 6 in total. Still 1 rifle, 2LB in Willow Lake. If we upgrade 4 cats next turn and then move in T173, we could attack with 8 cannon on T174, bomb Willow Lake and then throw all caution to the wind. Ideally, I'd want to capture and bomb Zendikar or Theros to claim that land for ourselves. If we think we can't claim that land, I'd rather just stay out of the war. I don't see any reason to attack dtay unless we have a clear path to becoming becoming a front runner. I don't want to play kingmaker here.

I think if we save gold for 4 turns, we spend the first turn worth of gold (this turns) on unit upgrades then we have enough gold to get Military Tradition and Music in 4 turns, ie eot T178, and could potentially then save a bit more gold to upgrade to Cuirs. Then it's the long hard slog to Rifling.
If we went for PP first, that's delaying Mil Trad a further 3 turns but we'd generate something like an additional 500 commerce over the intervening turns.
Whatever happens, if we attack dtay, we take the brunt of the counter offensive before anyone else. He has the Hindu Shrine now so has no reason to attack Pindicator any more, there is an ocean to travel before he can reach FinHarry, and we're just sitting there at a tech disadvantage trying to dismember the southern half of his empire. It's immediately suicidal, he won't just roll over and die. On the plus side, we do have the head start on Steel for cannons and we are a mere 30K soldier poitns from being #1 in power (we are #2 right now). We'll need a proper defensive stack up north, and we are going to have to cover the northern cities from a naval invasion: don't expect help keeping dtays navy to the west.
Thinking about it more, I really don't like this I don't see us getting much from the south before he drafts it into the ground and he is drafting rifles. Can't we just attack Ruff instead? We can have Astro in 7 turns, maybe 6.
