[spoilers] Rusty, Creaky, and Cranky: Thoth yells at clouds

I suspect Mig is going to try something fancy with settling 2W of his horses on flatland and trying to land a religion to pop borders ect.

I'm aiming for Seescape on the desert 1S of Ivory and Hard Luck on the Furs.

I think that the Gold means that we detour to Animal Husbandry before Iron. Worker turns are the limiting factor on getting Iron connected unless we get a second worker out before second settler. Which might be a good idea anyway. But that's post turn 30 and I'm not going to figure out micro that far in advance in an AW knife fight.

T14 done.

Yuris pulled his scout back, I advanced the warrior to the Wheat tile, aiming to park him on the Gold.

Revolted to Slavery and continued choking Mig.

Eot demographics show Commodore is working his Oasis instead of one of his 3f/1h tiles.

Looking at the demos, a Fishing/Mining civ was definitely the right call here.

Workboat first when you have a 3/1 and 0/3 tiles and a fish are absurdly strong. Usually people think "Oh it's dine even if you get the early seafood hook up because you can't work both tiles" but you actually can. I figure it usually gives about a 3 tuen advantage in food hammers (in terms of extra turns growing and building a warrior etc but when you settle on copper and get the extra hammer...its just a no brainer.

T15: Mig finished a farm and a warrior so I decamped the banana. Yuris scout has disappeared.

Eot demos:

No changes in anyone's city sizes. 3 for us and Commodore, 1 for Yuris/Mig. No one else has Bronze yet. 2t more for Commodore and 3t for Yuris I think.

This stage of the game is just being clinical and catching if anyone tries to be a smart bastard. Never seen it be entertaining.

t17: Commodore grew to size 4 last turn, and I remembered in the nick of time that Oasis tiles are 2 move cost.

If he's going for a settler whip, Commodore can do it t22 including the anarchy turn if he starts the settler this turn. He should have Bronze by the end of his t17, assuming he opened Mining-->Bronze.

1st whip of the game next turn as we go back to size 2 for a couple of turns.

Yeah, at this point it's really only entertaining if someone screws up.   I don't think Mig's weak opening counts as an entertaining screw up though.

10K lowest power is tempting me to advance the warrior towards Yuris rather than keeping it back as deterrent/home defence.   But I don't want to poke both neighbours just yet.

T18:  Pushed the "Whip" button for the first time this game.

Whipping away the Oasis costs one extra turn on Wheel.   Such is the price of progress.

We will have 15 hammers of overflow into t19.  We are at 8/24 food.   +6 Food/+4 Hammers

If we take the overflow into a settler, we'll only need 2 more turns invested before we can 2 pop whip.  But we don't get the axe until after the settler

Wheat farm completes on t23, road 25, gold road done t28 for a t29 settle if we can whip t27.

T19 25 hammers into settler
eot 21: 45 hammers into settler
T22:  Start axe, +6 food
t23:  Farm done, + 8 food. 14/24-->22/24 eot
Eot24: Grow to size 3 with 6/26 food
t25 +7 food
Eot 27:  grow to size 4
T28:  Whip settler.
t29 axe completes, settler moves, worker moves to forest 7 of gold
t30: settle.  Worker starts road.  Axe moves to gold.
t31:  worker completes road and axe moves to jungled pigs.

If we just grow to size 4, we get there eot 24.  Axe done eot 23, t24 put a turn into spear.
t25:  work fish, wheat, banana, oasis  14 food/hammers  (heh.  3 turns need to be invested same as above.  But we have a
t28: whip settler.  Same as above but we don't need to road the forest yet and can mine the gold and pasture the horse first.

So the tldr is:  get the axe out asap as planned and use it to make sure we get the site we want.  Gold mine worked on t32.

We need a second worker before second settler.  Worker turns are the bottleneck on Prats, not beakers.
