Personly I don't see the advantage if having jowy in the alliance, no offence to him, but he is dead weight now that the war with spullla's team is a bust. Best to ditch him and concentrate on expanding west for the ottomans and through the Incan or koreans for whosit and consolidate ready for round two with India.

I don't know what the others are researching, but he (Jowy) will be first to cats, so if they (theorically) could agree on military specialisation (jowy on cat, kathelet on HA) they should be able to limit the damage on the northern front)

From Kathletes POV, I can see why Jowy is important to prop up - they do not want a Spulllan takeover of Greece - which will then be their neighbour and has several (GG!) axes to grind? From their POV, ideal if Jowy/Spullla fight to stagnation over there?

You mean the exact same reason that it was in Jowy's interest to prop US up?

Maybe you and Kathlete were both not as scary at that time as Spullla is now

Whilst i agree, i'm not sure Whosit's thread is the place for it. I'd much rather we show support but that's just me

It's not any worse than the unrelenting "Bow down before GOD" in the Spulla thread.

Yeah I considered that but I judged whosit's sense of humor to be sufficient to not get bent out of shape about what was intended to be a humorous observation

My observation: You are doing Spulla’s taunting in the name of a lurker.
