Get the impression that NaMoc think reparations will be the end of it, but Spullla are just trying it on for some easy cash - beyond that, I don't think it means anything to them?
Still, kinda half have the feeling their problem is with Nakor rather than DMOC, wonder if it somehow came across that DMOC seemed more against leading them up the garden path before the dogpile started? Also seem to recall most of the faux friendly communication was from Nakor?
It's odd, I seem to recall Spullla offering support/help with Dantski taking down NaMoc, but now they seem to view that as the last thing on their mind?

I think Spullla wouldn't mind helping Dantski against HRE if Dantski looked like he was going to actually attack... as it is, it does not seem like he is going to (signing NAPs etc) and thus no interest from Spullla to prop any attack up...

I view it kind of like when you've got an AI that you're much more powerful, and you see they have some spare cash, so you demand it.
Saves you for 10 turns, but that's it....

I think you could pull it off like fronting money for techs or fuel the deficit research or something though a diplo win would not work.

That's interesting, I wonder where the misunderstanding lies; With Speaker, Plako or Athlete.
I have to run.

I noticed that too. I hope Plako didn't agree to just a one time gold deal b/c that does not seem like a good bargain.

Note to all lurkers and Pitboss players: Bringing up the combat log screen, and the chat window there, to talk to somebody creates a 0% chance of accidental war.
And note to Civ V designers: There should ALWAYS be a confirmation window when you declare war. There is absolutely no reason for a war declaration to be one-click only.
