Gaspar/NH, if one of you can get to the save sometime during the next hour, I can play immediately. Otherwise, I won't be able to play my turn until late tonight.

This is probably as close as I'm getting to a FFH game. Thanks Mist.

Its been brought to my attention (Flying camera shenanigans showed it to be so, then we asked plako to confirm) that we're actually playing on a map with Toroidal wrap rather than Cylindrical as originally requested. I am of the opinion that this is a big enough deal to have a restart due to obvious reasons which I won't overly post for fear of metagaming too much but particularly given the nature of how we all chose our civs for the game. But obviously, it requires everyone else's input as well. So I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on the matter.
The map seems pretty huge, too. Is that to counteract the distant maintenance? IE, if the maint on this huge fellow is about the same as a 40x40 cylindrical, that might be okay.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
IT IS NOT THE SAME AS CYLINDRICAL. END OF STORY.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
In case it wasn't clear, I am fine with the restart too, I just was curious what Plako/Novice's reasons were.

No reason. I really didn't even know you wanted Cylindrical. There is no mentioning of it in the opening post and I didn't read this thread much. However as said. Map has lots of water, but not that much land so I would say this shouldn't be big issue. e.g. your 1st city will typically cost only 1 gpt. Unless you plant it very far away.
