this is where copper is, so it wont be a problem for this early turns but it could be if we are planing to make a 4th city to grant that copper and prevent any rush from ruff. Are we making 4th city there or we keep the plan of granting the gold?

In English it is better to say that you are "claiming" the copper or gold, rather than granting it. Granting it means you are giving it to someone else. Claiming it means you are getting it for yourself.

Ohw thats nice to know. I sometimes use what it seems simmilar toi Spanish, we say "garantizar" which is similar to warranty too and thats why i thought it would fit in "grant". But surely i ll use Claim instead!. Thanks for your advices, this is making me feel more fluent on english and im getting betteer on civ too. How could i have not known this forum before?
Turn 35
I moved the S1 to the hill close to city 3, but there is one tile without being fogbost if im right, the tile 1 north of City 3 spot. Am i right? Would it be worth to move on next turn the S1 one S? I would lose a lot of sight. S2 is going already to the gold, Ruff got his scout in the same tile as S2. The warrior is on the gems already so no fear from barbs. Demos, still last on gnp but there is someone on anarchy, i hope that geting some more cities and pop will help, i dont want to stick last. Graphs, Ruff lost some GNP maybe bug solved? Also he is putting EPs on us,
You can move the warrior 1SW and still have nothing to fear from barbs - defogging barbs is independent of vision it’s a square round your unit

Barbs cannot spawn within 2 tiles of any unit.
I am fairly sure fog busting does depend on vision as well though. Barbs cannot spawn where you have vision. That is in addition to the 2 tile radius.

Okey so ill turn back my warrior on next turna nd then the S1 is fine fogbusting there too. And Noble do you know if culture also fogbust 2 tiles farther or just 1?
Culture fog busts via vision, if you can't see it then it's not being busted. Only units have the 2 tile radius.

Turn 36
Moved the warrior as you said, S1 fought vs a powerfull wolve that having 0.1 odds almost kill our men. S2 going to the gold. The worker finished and is going to chop and then mine that tile, on turn 42 will have the 3city i believe. Spain took his 2 city in this turn and also the other of them took pottery so again we ll tech that with more bonnus. Demos, looking horrible on gnp. Graphs, ruff took some more gnp, and we are killing on power again, so no fear at all for now. |
