The mirroring is part of the problem, really. It's a bit dull that nobody can delude themselves that the grass is greener on their neighbor's side; identical starts means we're just competing to see who can solve the same puzzle best, and that carries on elsewhere.
I like toroids a lot for the tactical implications, and it's hard to make a fair map where everyone can conflict everyone with five people unless its a toroid. But it makes for a very distorted tech/cost ratio. Heh, and it's why Org is kind of brokenly good a lot of the time now. I like the smaller tight AW maps 34-esque, but those are very different from these big boys.

Didn't rbmod fix the toroidial cost problem?

Slow but surely, the Kong Miao is earning more money. I've yet to receive a single free spread, though.
Newest city! Welcome Fuji to the fold, it's job is simply to whip a granary, then workboat, then grow big and strong(ish).
Hiatus done, turns ought to be coming again.

Is a market worth it for a 6gpt shrine?

Because, naturally, it will be worth it when it's bringing in more gold as Confucianism spreads further, plus with silks and furs the + is excellent. The capital is bumping up on mild happiness constraints itself, actually, but spices online will see it to size 13 and then it'll push a settler or two.
Ever-expanding, taking advantage of cheap courthouses, that's our way. I do have a beef with the governors, though...guess who didn't feel like working a mine? Representation spies are just like crack to the BtS governor. Anyway, here's Odin.
I finished Literature and I think I'll just blaze on to Music, that Great Artist will be sweet and Military Tradition is the military endgame tech on this map. Assuming we survive.
These are my demographics. My demographics say "hello, please dogpile me or at least force a billion whips". Caste is not safe yet; once I get some longbows and cats I can consider it I think. Gunpowder is actually close with these demos, I think.

Could you post your tech tree, please? And maybe your GNP graph?

...nervous...
So yeah, that's where we are with that. I think I can transfer forces from the east, Dazed isn't massing forces evidently.
Three more turns to Music, and then we'll see what's up. Nico gonna be mad, unless he snipes it. Meanwhile, more building, growing, etc. Great Library/NE in Puncak, Moai in Kinabalu.
