[Mjmd #60] Why even buy toys for kids?
|
I feel like we are moving from things kids use as toys but aren't intended for / don't have to buy, to activity / games (that may or may not involve things). That to me means we clearly need more cities!!! / can save for a different naming theme.
That being said here are added: -String/Rope - absolutely -Sand -Dirt (just while I'm remembering) -forgot to mention but 'underneath things' makes the cut 100%. Little vague, but that is fine with me -as well as 'beds'
Couch Cushions
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Added to list
-Couch Cushions -Wipes -Snowball -Ice Cubes (or maybe just ice). I was just getting myself tea and putting ice in (first). One cube fell on the floor and my oldest two were suddenly playing with it non stop... Sent them off, threw cube in the sink, and son came back looking for it wanting to play with it more.........
Ok, thought while on my mind. I advertised a quick game. There seems to be a chunk of people who want a larger map and to be all safe and cozy and fuzzy. Part of me sympathizes and wants that (especially with planned pick). More of me wants the world to burn though..... I'll probably still pick my fun things if allowed and get punished, but BURN BABY BURN (already some regret).

Genghis of Rome? Larger map means more praetorians, doesn't that sound good. (May 13th, 2021, 02:56)Miguelito Wrote:(May 12th, 2021, 14:36)Mjmd Wrote: Ok, thought while on my mind. I blame you for Rome, which I enjoyed and would totally do again on a 100-110 tiles per player map (hopefully not donut which also hurt it). Also, I probably choose the worst possible iteration of aggressive to do it with so would play again. Not this game though. Want to try out industrial since there has been mod discussion on and want to play it a little more casual.
Not the most exciting start, not the least. Probably midpoint for starts of the games I've played.
If it was a fish maybe SIP and choose a civ that can get to it, but eh. I think I'm moving onto the sugar. Its a little awkward because it can never build a lighthouse. Also awkward it picks up more plains than I think my entire PB56 empire. Does mean I'm closer to the floodplains, which if this is a more PB58 ish map means they are legit food. Obviously gives a little more leeway in starting techs as well, because we all know what Mjmd is first picking right? I haven't done any sims to verify and there aren't as many forests as I would like for it, but |
