May I also suggest that India and Inca get only one or possibly none of the starting-tech bonuses?
Trying to balance ALL of the UUs/UBs is a fool's errand IMO, and some of the civs that are chosen primarily for their starting techs (say, Ottos, China, Mali) are solid, but nothing outlandish.
Or you could have a "No Tech Bonus" for India/Inca, and 6-8 civs with only 1 starting tech bonus.

I wouldn't mind this, and I'll have time most days. So if a place is still open count me in.

Lewwyn and Serdoa are always quick to sign up for games I'm in, I don't know what that says about me  .
So myself, Commodore, Lewwyn, Serdoa, Brian Shanahan makes 5. I'm guessing SevenSpirits has some work still to do on compiling the lists of bonuses.
I'm planning on putting actual effort into reporting this along the lines of pbem14 rather than pbem22, so I'll happily accept any ded-lurkers who'd like to yell at me for doing terrible things. The more snark the better.

Map is almost done. I want to get feedback on it and the starting bonuses. Then I'll post them and a screenshot of the starting position and you can pick. I'm still deciding how we should do the pick.
