What it looks like is that her family emphasized their Native American heritage, that she bought into it being more than it was, and that she sometimes checked the "Native American" squares in forms. The only time it appeared to have mattered in any way was when Harvard got slack for not having enough non-white professors, and she agreed to sign up as Native American.

I reckon it matters now...more specifically, I wonder about the ethical consequences of either lying, or fraudulent misrepresentation. I also see her playing Trumps game and losing, but then Democrats have a knack of losing to Trump. Trumps knows liberals too well, remember was one of them and still is in many things only if they would recognize that and work for America good and not cry rasist every 2 sentences. And the Orange man(i seen they call him like that, so he is of colour as well) is in my opinion a genius at mind game. Adrinier ,if Trump was lieng like this(its a proved lie not hings which left says are and they wish to be) would you find excuses as well for him or will demand impeach(or watever the term is).
Dude Trump lies way too often for you to say that seriously. He lied about the extent of his electoral college victory FFS. I didn't think you could lie in such a stupid way, now I wouldn't be surprised if he proclaimed the sky to be yellow and that the idea that the sky is blue is fake news
Edit : in case you don't know, Trump said seriously that his electoral college victory was the biggest since Reagan, when Obama did better in 08. Then he said he meant that he did better than any republican since Reagan, which is also a lie because Bush Sr did better than him.
New Senate map; everything is in response to polling expect IN which escaped last time in order to have a reasonable amount of toss-ups.

I liked The Two Income Trap, it was a very well-researched book. Disagreed with some stuff and some assumptions, but I'd like a world where people debate the merits. I doubt anyone talking about Elizabeth Warren will be talking about the book ever again.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
boring topic compared to native americans and trump issues i assume.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

The worst strike is the sheer idiocy of releasing a test that 'demonstrates' 1/64 - 1/1024 heritage, and getting condemned by the tribe she claims affiliation with. I think by actual Leftist he means what is leftists outside of America, in Europe the democrats would be considered a Center Rightwing party, not Leftists. America's political split isn't a left-right one, you have moderate rightwing (some governmental oversight) and extreme rightwing (lose your house cause healthcare bills) majority parties. The only true Leftism is to be found in third parties. And that is not just my "leftist" bias speaking as I have voted for the Center Right, so Democrat equivalent, myself in some elections over here (D66 which even stands for Democrats 1966, loosely translated). Mostly because it is in some ways the most progressive party, which is another difference, your standing on social issues isnt automatically tied in with economic standing over here. There are conservative near-communists and progressive "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" rightwingers. I am only a "leftist" by America's general rightwing viewpoint, over here I'm a Liberal, which is the non Nationalist (i.e. sensible) right wing. Sanders is one of the only true leftist in the Democrats, and we've all seen how much the establishment idiots in the Dems hate him by rigging the DNC against him, even though he had popular support. That was the biggest strategic blunder of the Democrats in the last election, alienating the true left by picking someone so right wing that even Fucking Trump managed to overtake her on the left on some stances. This is a strategy they have tried for a decade now, they push forward canditates like Barack "Here's Droney" Obama and Bill "Privatice everything" Clinton to appeal to non-crazy Republicans, all the while alienating their true core. |
