I'm voting in a Tory stronghold though. My vote is worthless.
+1 all of this.
Didn't bother voting, but would've voted BNP.

@Krill - Generally in agreement - Brown is what I'm not a fan of. Although I don't like a few of the other senior figures that much either...
@Pocketbeetle - BNP Paribas - I didn't know you could vote for a bank.
Heh - this is a wee bit off topic.

Staying up too to watch the election. Tories are looking scarily like they might take over - yuck.
BTW: no way Brown is a moron Krill. The guy's been chancellor for 10 years and PM for 4 or 5 - he's gotta be the best person at the moment. Plus he's super-intelligent, rather have the cleverest man in the room as PM than someone with better debating skillz or looking good in a suit.

Speaking as a watching Yankee, here's my take of the numbers: Tories are probably looking at a hung parliament, with LDs not gaining much (heck, they lost ground to Labour in, say, the city of Durham). Around 300 - 220 - 80, I think. 80's probably a high point for LD.

Uh, what has happened to the economy in the past 10 years? It's gone from Stable, to unsustainable growth while Brown was chancellor, to crashing when he became PM.

Yeah that seems to be the story at the moment.
LDs not gaining much from exit polls, possibly even declining.
Best guess would be it's again to do with electoral system.
LD popularity may have gone up, but the effect is spread nationally rather than increased popularity in certain seats.

LD aren't going to do well tonight, I think Tories just took them to pieces tonight.
