I said he was intelligent and experienced. I didn't say he was a seer and should have predicted investment banks going bust over californinans defaulting on their mortgages.

I hear the Lib Dems get to play kingmaker since Labour won't go into coalition with the Tories. Who do you think they'll form a coalition with? I heard there are two options:
Lib Dem + Tories
or
Lib Dem + Labour + SNP + WNP (welsh national party)
Which do you think is more likely or more preferable?

might not get that choice, Conservatives might get to work with a smaller fourth party, or go as a minority government, which is the usual thing over here.

It depends a lot on what Mr. Brown does. If Brown stays as the Labour head, then it's going to be tough to see a Labour/Lib coalition, and getting enough seats might be tough.

As much as I've wanted to befriend them, I really don't think I'm going to be able to. I think they hold a grudge from the 5V1 despite them saying they don't.

What does everyone think of this statement? I haven't bothered to dig up what both teams said about the NAP agreement, but I believe it was just NAP until turn 205. Are we seeing a fundamental difference in what both teams consider "non-aggression"?

Yeah, the NAP has no specific clauses attached to it except "Agree to do the same with Korea."
IMO, that's a little absurd...if EP spending isn't covered in the NAP deal, it's not breaking the NAP. It's not like athlete's being directly harmed by those actions. The neutral pillaging was a lot closer to breaking the NAP than trying to gain research visibility.

I'm too tired to bother looking it up, but I recall Spullla started signing "we'll stop spending EP on you when we both reach [I think it was 43]" agreements with most everyone after they met Jowy. If they agreed to one of those with KAthlete, they may be breaking it (whether intentionally so is an open question).
All the political discussion about our friends across the pond leads me to post this link: http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q...JmNmU2ODY= The point the author makes in the title is outstanding -- the downfall of all elections is that no matter for whom one votes, there's always government at the end of the election.

[quote=Shoot the Moon]And, you know, there's the whole thing that the game admin specifically said not to post such a statement in their thread 7 hours before you posted it.
Yeah, still not seeing how basically saying "think outside the box" can be construed as a spoiler. Maybe you could point me to which rule I actually broke?
