Seems to me Athlete thinks that the espionage deal survived the war-declaration which is strange.

I agree with B & B here

Heh. I'm kind of glad that they'll lose the race for Taj. Might teach them not to underestimate the other teams so much.
Somehow I do not see how you come to the conclusion that Sullla thinks Nakor is an idiot? He is only a little bit upset that they have to wait for him. I can understand that from his PoV.

But whatever. If something that innocuous can get this kind of reaction, then you should just ban posting in the player's threads.
OK, I'm awake now and intrigued by the Lid Dem kingmaker position.
However, to matters at hand.
Axiis, you specifically did something I asked posters not to do, which was to tell Spullla that they are playing an orthodox game. What you did was comment on how their play, using information and opinions garnered from a lurker thread - THIS IS A SPOILER! It doesn't matter what you think, but you MUST abide by the rules of the forum.
And you didn't. The last time someone decided to not follow the rules the forum got locked by the admins. Do you want that to happen again?

He's noticed them doing something odd, then dismissed it out of hand. If he didn't think Nakor's move was stupid then why the flippant post? I mean not majorly stupid, but at best irrelevant.
I just thought it was a nice irony that because he doesn't think that highly of the other teams skills he hasn't done rigorous analysis on their motives when he notices something odd. He could have possibly figured out how far behind he was on Taj if he hadn't dismissed the warning sign.

Am I correct in guessing that Nakor is talking about the very end of last turn and Speaker probably jumped in to the very start of the next turn?
Or is the Taj going to a coinflip?

Looking at Civstats I believe that the former is correct, as Nakor was last to end turn as they talked about and Spekaer logged in after the turn flipped.
Thus Nakor will finish Taj at end of this turn, when Spulla finish Nationalism

Strike, watch for Nakor's score dropping near the end of this turn. If it does, they have whipped it and Spulla will be one turn late.
