Molach is blocking me from logging in and I need to sleep, so I'll try to get to my turn ASAP tomorrow morning for everyone who's behind me in a turn split.

I thought I had changed but apparently I failed to save correctly. Fixed now.

Thanks BGN, even though it's not all my doing--replacing Dhal, switching out Parkin for Gawdzak, and killing a bunch of people (and more importantly, their turn splits ) is helping as well

Of course, the real question is whether it's practical to move back to a 24 hour timer at this point? I mean, all the wars haven't finished yet, and more will pop up, but there's certainly fewer of them now. Another possibility might be to move to a 36 hour timer or something--I know Parkin needing the turn to roll at a consistent time was part of the reason we doubled the timer, but I don't know how flexible Gawdzak's schedule is (or how much he's needed to roll other people's turns at this point for that matter).

I'm in a turn split that would be impossible with only 24 hours. Maybe in 10 turns.

I'm strongly against switching back to 24 hours and having a million pauses every turn again

There's no way we have less wars now anyways. At least half of my in-game contacts are either in wars or have been in one in the last 10 turns or so.

I think the pace being stable and predictable, if slightly slower is far better than it being completely chaotic if slightly quicker on average. And even if there are less wars, they are becoming more complex as is empire management for those who are doing well.
