It depends, really. In Korea's case though, I'd say that clawing their way back from the brink of annihilation is what Broker and Plako (and the rest of us) will remember more than anything else. Not all victories are defined by winning. smile

Yeah, I guess it comes down to whether you want to chase the Jowy route and go down in a gambit for glory, or the Dantski path and sit around aiming for 5th place.

Spulla will win this game unless he messes up big time; that won't happen.

Yeah

Please not that this was in response to Sullla's realization that Liberalism is a prerequisite for Communism. duh

I think Koreas doing the right thing. They have nothing to gain from a war with India or does anyone really thinking that HRE combinded with Korea would have any chance against Indias forces? That seems for me more like lurkers who do not want to see India win then realistic perception of where the game stands.

I want and expect India to win, but I'd actually be happy if HRE and Korea and Inca banded together for a final bloodbath to the finish lol

William, I wouldn't bother arguing the point right now, argue it when the game is finished. Not an order or anything, just an observation. And FWIW, I agree with you; you argued the theory, Sullla retorted with the execution being crap...which is technically a non sequitur.

I just watched 2011 the other day. Something comes to my mind: You need to empty your cup before listening to other point of view. Sullla hasn't done that yet...

Me too, but I am hoping for some Munro action from Slaze....

I find it quite amusing that now Spulla need a pause because the clock rolled at an inappropriate time.

In actual fact, by Athlete playing at the same time every day meant that they could also work around it. Now the clock has bitten them in the arse.

Do you think if instead of running the clock down to avoid pausing, athlete had just requested a pause everytime he needed one, Spulla would have seen that to be ok or not? lol

Athlete could have ended turn and then requested a pause every day so he could play.

I don't think they understand that and instead think that Athlete was doing it just to fuck with them (even though myself and probably others have tried to explain it).
