What level of AI diplo; PB27, PB25, or PB28?
Open to partners if someone is looking to help stretch my game... ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif)
I'm not willing to fully commit to a new game, but I'd enjoy offering my meager advice as a dedlurker/emergency turn-player.
Sounds good, always happy to have a guaranteed reader to bounce ideas off!

Thanks for making the map Krill. That would mean locking us in at 8 players I take it? I'd be happy to wait a few more days(maybe set a deadline on it?) to see if anyone else shows up.

We could always just lock it at 9 or 10 (or 11 or 12...) so that Krill can get started on the map now, and just wait until those slots fill up to actually start the game.
BTW, Krill, if we're doing ToW, I'd like plainshill capitals and no pasture-only-food at capital, please. Also, I'll update my map tool in the next day or two to have that single-click .exe for you.

Ok, updated the OP for ToW. I guess I can try my weird accelerated start some other time.
Anyone have an opinion on bans? Now would be the time to talk about them. Personally, I'm willing to give Agr another chance, but I feel like Boudica is too good because she essentially has no growth limiter at all.

The basic design of the map, the script used, the start balance can be done without the number of players being locked down. Ideally for me due to my other commitments, I'd have the number of players set by Wednesday afternoon GMT, say 1600 GMT? That means I can have a map up in the lurker thread for balancing purposes on Wednesday evening and go from there.

2 hammer starts are a given, and no pasture only food starts are fine.
Tech cost scaling is up to you but the toroidal maintenance recalculated as cylidrical maintenance game option WILL be enabled.

Oh yeah, thanks, I forgot that was an option you need to specifically click in ToW. Definitely want that. I'm all for tech cost scaling too.

Boudica /did/ seem a tad overpowered, didn't she. ![twirl twirl](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/twirl.gif) I guess we accumulate more data before declaring AGR overpowered as a trait and submit for rebalancing?

That sounds good to me.
My feeling at the moment is that AGR would be better balanced at 1f for every 5pop. I'd be interested to see how playing against the 4 pop version feels like though, so I'd be happy leaving it as is too. I'll check with Seven if he had any plans. I'm not convinced Boudica is overpowered, I think 63 was almost a perfect storm for Cha, due to the AW setting, happy starved map and high city maintenance. I'm not playing the same leader again though, so ban away if you want ![wink wink](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/wink2.gif) .
Tech cost scaling - I vote yes.
Toroidal maintenance - I like it, but happy to be overruled too.
See starts before picking - I vote yes.
City trading - I'll vote no.
AI Diplo - 3 options per Dreylin's post
a) Real trades only
b) Arcane Signaling - my vote
c) Limited messaging system
EDIT: I wonder if the new location of this thead might reduce the chances of catching more players ...

My preference is:
Diplomacy - real trade offers.
City trades - no.
See starts before picking - yes.
Tech cost scaling & maintenance - I'm fine with any option.
Bans - no real requests.
