[NO PLAYERS] The Kibitzer Klub: PB13 Map & Lurkers

Lewwyn has a strong economy but laments his lack of tasty wonders. So he'll have to keep on expanding until he runs out of land, at which point he hopes to be far enough ahead of Azza to kill him without the war dragging on forever. I don't think Lewwyn is out of this thing but his position probably isn't as strong as Scoopin and is likely to end up significantly behind Mackoti once he's done with absorbing MH. I haven't followed Old Tourist but they appear to be doing well and Dtay it's also in a good position. His trouble could be proximity to Old Tourist because eventually they'll probably have to fight it out after TBS/Jowy succumb in the mid game.

Sounds like mackoti / plako / scoopin / dtay remain the front runners, in no particular order. Perhaps ichabod as well if he can make quick work of slowcheetah in their upcoming conflict.

Anyone up for telling Suttree he can't declare war like he just did, and has to play after mh?

haven't followed suttree's thread. is the problem with a 3-way turn split, or with suttree not establishing turn order before declaring?

in any case, mackoti isn't giving sut any time to attack.

Suttree played last on one turn, then immediately declared war when he rolled the turn. He had to wait until mh had played his turn before he could declare war.

is it possible that suttree intends to take the 2nd half and simply gave m_h more warning than he needed to? m_h didn't mention any moves by suttree... I think let m_h continue acting first in turn order as he should. let suttree show his hand, I guess.

edit: since mack took three cities off m_h in 2 turns, I'm not sure suttree and m_h have a border anyway!

Somewhat interesting, but I just have so little use for any of the other benefits of drama/music right now that I don't think its worth it. Globe isn't really needed until Drafting, and nothing else much interests me.

Maybe the biggest misstep of dtay's game so far. If building culture wasn't enough, how about denying a free GP to another frontrunner?!

Is it just me, or does Ichabod seem way overconfident in taking out slowcheetah? That just doesn't seem like a very big army to me. And stopping building military before he even takes a city?

According to the stats he has the "biggest army" for the last few turns with some good growth (could see it in FinHarry thread), not sure how much of it is going to attack (compare to being just tech/building/MP units...) and how much more that is compare to his last description of "invading army".

plus, slow hasn't shown a talent for tactics. ..
