I think this game would have been a lot better to play with PMs. Mattimeo's summary posts in day 1 probably helped his opponents more than his team, which is just stupid.

PMs would make it easier for team conferring. Though lurkers would have a tougher time following everything that went on. One solution I had thought of is since I would want PMs also sent to me anyways, I could post them somewhere else (a QT for example), and allow lurkers who asked me for it to have the link so they could track the hidden action as it went on.
But that's an issue for if/when another game of this is ran.

To expand on zaks words: It seems that out of 18 players only 2 are really deciding by their play who wins, while everyone else just plays along. Doesn't seem all that exciting except for if you are either one of the greys or if you love just sweet-talking others into something. Which of course favors players like Bigger and scooter (and hurts players like Rowain, uberfish or me).
Not my game I feel, but if the players have fun, all is good

I should add that I haven't followed this closely enough to have any opinion on who the bomber and president are. It seems like both teams are confident that they have that figured out (overconfident, perhaps?), but if they get that wrong, then they'll probably lose.

As far as I understand they all have so much reveal-whored between each other that there are just 3 or 4 players left with unknown roles. There is some uncertainty though about spies it seems, but it is hard to say if that is because it is really not known or just because players try to play it like that. Maybe because I also haven't followed closely enough.
