What I found more surprising though is that Nakor is not willing to whip out WEs as they get odds on knights. If he had just made a handful of WE's earlier I'm almost certain that these attacks would be far less successful.

I don't understand Nakor

Wonder what I could have done differently...
He saw the Vikings power rising up and did not whip any cats or WE? And then he asks what he could have done? I can understand the anger and frustration mack an some others feel about this.

Um.... is it me or does that not sound QUITE right?

Of course we certainly have a lot of spears so this might not be necessary or that painful. Still, just flashing one elephant at him from Don Giovanni - he'll have no idea how many others we might have.
Not that elephants are a *bad* response to probable knights - but the answer is cats! The answer is always cats! (except when it's cannon) When removing a stack from your land, you needs cats + something, and the identity of that something almost doesn't matter.

Very sad/disappointed to see nakor going out like this. I thought he was playing a better game until recently. Talk about having a glass jaw. One good punch and he's folding. Total No Mas situation here. He can't wait to get out of of the ring and he's not even throwing punches or putting his gloves up. This is just terrible. Not just in terms of game balance but in his progression as a player.
Nakor, if/when you read this later, it isn't personal, but you've done nothing right here. You can't just quit on a game like this. I guess I've already beaten that dead horse enough though.

I can certainly understand how Nakor's position could be dis-spiriting. Even vets can succumb occasionally; see PB15. That said, if you know you aren't in the right mental place to deal with adversity in a MP game, where adversity is the rule rather than the exception, why join one in the first place? MH knew he was burned out, so why sign up? Given Nakor's PB5/PB8/PB13 experiences, and the resulting trend, he should consider whether Pitboss is really his scene. Not to say he couldn't develop as a player, but this might not be the best setting for it.

To be honest, if other players' rant are anything but momentary burst, I am not sure Nakor will have easier time joining another Pitboss considering the amount of people putting him on their ban-list.

I think what really needs to occur is "learning from your experience". I can speak from myself, as his partner in RB pitboss 2. Even though our ultimate position in that game ended up well, we made tons of (in retrospect) idiotic decisions, and even though I haven't seriously participated in any of pitbosses 3 through 13, I made it a point before joining Pitboss 14 to read every post in our pitboss 2 thread to understand what I needed to do better. And the result in pitboss 14 for the first 50-ish turns (to keep things relatively spoiled) was much better than the corresponding position in pitboss 2.
Also, wasn't he playing multiple pit bosses at a time? One game is more than enough.

Man, I know I was defending slowcheetah for not going all-out on the defense, but Nakor's apparently intentional attempt to get himself killed as quickly as possible is simply shameful. This is clearly a situation where the game would be better served by allowing an AI to take over.
