Two turns until an Academy is up and tech is back on!
We'll be around 800 + 160 + 50 = 1110 gold. Sounds great, but its only enough for six turns of research since our expenses are over 200 . Hinduisum -> Forges -> Courthouses is the most hammer efficient method, but seriously, I think hitting Courthouses first is a better idea. Thoughts, dedicated lurker team? Speaking of Hinduism:
3 Missionaries are out, only Mexcio and . Demographics:
Yay, number one in food. Uh, not so good elsewhere. Even regoarrarr is out GNPing us . Seriously, Courthouses then Forges?

I'm not sure how much of a dedicated lurker team you still have given the complete lack of updates in the last month.
I dunno, I tend to like building forges first. What's the maintenance at cities at various distances like?

From 6 at the capital to 12 on the outskirts. City maintenance is 120 gpt, so Courthouses would be worth 60 gpt, civ wide.

Well, I guess the rational calculation is the time difference between getting a courthouse up and getting a forge and then a courthouse up. That number of turns multiplied by the amount of gold saved per turn is how much gold you save by making courthouses first. Then you compare that to the number of hammers you save on the courthouses by making the forges first.

Most people at RB don't really value CHs too highly in these MP games, but on one of these toroidal maps, I think they are a pretty good build, especially in the distance cities.
Also, in the long haul, you need to keep up in tech. You can get by with substandard MFG for a while as long as you can produce advanced troops. But building lots of outdated troops is never successful.

Well...
At least I can counter attack his stack away.
Edit: That is 28 dead units if you are keeping score.

Either way, that is a good reminder of why concentration is a good idea...

Tech back on next turn...There really is a low chance of getting Liberalism, so I will tech Calendar first, then CS->Paper->Education (bulb).
