No problem on our side, of course.
Non-taken, by the way.

So I've been doing a little rolling with the Lakes script. First off, small makes the shapes very different, oddly enough. Secondly, low or even most of the time medium sea level often translates to "not much water anywhere at all". I liked PBEM 18 and 20, would those setups work nice enough? The low/medium sea level is kind of chokeless and scary, honestly.

Well, I'd like to avoid a situation where someone can get circumnavigation with a scout. Also, the more water on the map the more significant the Fin advantage is. I'm not opposed to water, you guys should get some benefit and I like where GLH, for example is viable but not OMG AWESOME. Maybe we want a different script entirely? I'm open to suggestion.

Actually, that's probably a good descriptor for what would be ideal: The GLH is viable and good, but not ROLFBBQ TEH BOMB. Now how to implement that? I dunno.

I think we still have 3 open issues, correct me if I'm wrong:
Spies minus Civic/Religion swap - Y/N
Banter Thread - Y/N
Map script & Settings - Be specific
Could all of the teams place a vote on these options before the end of the day Sunday so that we can give a concise list to novice before he rolls the map?
Since Noble and I disagree on at least 2 of those points, I'll wait until we have a chance to chat it out to post our vote, but I'd like to get this firmed up so we can get started next week. Thanks.

1. Spies - N
2. Banter - N
3. Map - Don't mind.

Okay, I rolled a few starts on Lakes and the water distribution is surprisingly bad. It's far too clumpy. Is there any chance novice could find a map script that produces water similar to PBEM32? With the amount under the circumnavigation threshold (so about 25% like 32).

Spies - slight preference for N
Banter - strong Y
Map - any roughly balanced (but non-mirror) map is fine

Y, slightly
Y, slightly
Standard/Highsea/Lakes or something Low-sea Pangaea-ish if we want another land-biased landform.
