Also, how did the battle with the Lizardmen go? Did both Dwarves get enough XP to get a promotion or two?

Is the Settler out yet, by the way?

You're saving money for events with the 40% research, or is it for a different reason?

I believe it is Seven Pines. That wonder is of situational use at best in MP.

We won the lizardman battle. Our scout died, but we have one unwounded axe and another wounded (and poisoned one) unpromoted with 5xp.

Settler isn't due for 7t. It's certainly conceivable for us to loose that spot if the evil clowns have rushed a settler.

40% is just because we get the tech in 1t either way. I'm happy to reduce overflow in exchange for having more than 50g for events.

Options in no particular order:

1. West of the Incense: Safer.
2. South of the Gems: On a hill. Gets one FP from palace culture. Gets Gems without a monument.
3. City? sign: Gets all FPs and Incense without a Monument.
4. Tower tile: Gets Sugar. On a hill.

Need to road to it, looks like we might be one turn short.

I still suggest Worker -> Worker -> Settler at the capital and Bloodpet* at new city.

Would it be too much to ask for a dotmap?

Yes, but it's Christmas wink

I don't think 1t closer is worth giving up a hill, so to me it's red vs green. So what's better, pissing off a neighbor less or a sugar? Hmm....haven't we had this conversation before? wink

I strongly prefer green. We want to be working that Incense tile without having to get a Monument up and waiting for the border pop. Sugar is a weak tile, but the Incense and Gems are great.

Green also gets to work a Flood Plain without popping its borders, and the River health doesn't hurt. Red doesn't have a river, is pretty miserable without a culture pop, and is closer to the Balseraph capital than Prespur...
How aggressive are the Balseraphs likely to expand towards Calabim heartlands? Are they Expansive? I'm not familiar with the Insane mechanics...

We've played two or three turns since the screenshot. I can completely detail what happened because there is so little:

*Our worker has roaded one tile and moved to a second, on the way to the new city.

*Our two dwarven axes have moved into the capital and will heal.

*Our two warriors have moved towards the agreed upon spot but out of view of the clown folks.

*We continue to build a settler and research education (education, right darrell?).

Other than that, nothing. We've only seen a single clown warrior scouting, and no turn log announcements.

What's the agreed upon spot? Green?
