[Spoilers - Flauros (sunrise089 and darrelljs)]

Nothing like three PBEM turns in one night. NOt much going on still:

Second Worker finished. A third is next followed by another Settler. Our capital is at the happy cap and will be over it when the Governor's Manor is online. We continue to drag in all categories, especially GNP to uberfish since did indeed build the fast Academy...surely the others aren't far behind.

Code of Laws is due in 11; the hammers from the Governor's Manors and the commerce from the Aristofarms will be most welcome. We've got some catching up to do. Looking at the charts, I think the clowns got a settled GP since there was a production and GNP bump on one turn, as well as God King based on a fairly large production bump. They do not have a military bump however, so at least no immediate war.

2 questions:
1. Where are you planning to found your 3rd city?
2. Are you planning on going for any religion?

1. Somewhere east, to grab those floodplains and grassland river tiles (I like 3 NE of Prespur). We aren't swimming in resources, but those are going to be 4/0/4 and 3/0/4 tiles, respectively. Not bad.

2. After CoL, we go for BW. After BW, we go for Feudalism. After Fuedalism, we go for Honor, Empyrean and Chalid. We'll take the HBR route to Trade, naturally.

Here are a couple of proposed city sites based on our limited scouting:

I actually favor the Wheat/Silk spot next. Pre-border pop we have two grassland farms, Wheat and Silk. We pick up two floodplains post border pop. Not a wonderful site but the happy from the silk gives it the nod. The other site is working about 12 river farms, so its stronger and needs more growth time. I could accept it as well. Thoughts?

We also need to think worldspell. A very aggressive play would be to put Nubis on a Settler as soon as the bloodpet finishes next turn. Then, we settle both spots and pop our world spell. We can't build two settlers out of Prespur because we will want to start our half cost Governor's Manor as soon as Code of Laws comes in. A safer plan is to continue bloodpets at Nubis and pop the worldspell with only 3 cities. I no longer favor waiting until we hit 5+ cities, because I think we need to focus on getting GM hammers duee to the tight map size. I forgot to check what turn Nubis would finish a Settler, but my guess is its too far past Code of Laws to make that plan a good one, not even considering the risk of such a light military.

One other thing worth mentioning, is Festivals for Markets and Dancing Bears (also need Hunting Lodge/Hunters, but we have no shortage of Bears). I'm reluctant to even mention it as I still favor a Chalid lead stack of Vampires as fast as possible given the map, but its something to consider.

Empyrean with vampires is oddly humorous.

Wouldn't popping river of blood put Prespur over the happiness cap?

What's to the southeast of the wheat-silk spot?

Especially with a cannibalistic vampiric Chalid. :D

There's also an awesome spot on the coast with those two resources.

I probably favor the NE city. I actually think it will pay for itself in tech earlier as every tile we grow onto will be X/X/3, right? And it's much better in terms of claiming land, which I assume if why we're delaying that coastal city anyways.

Way over...one of the reasons I've been thinking about happy cap and favor the Silk spot.

The two BFC spots still under fog are another peak and a grassland tile as near as I can tell.

Do you mean the Clams/Wheat spot to the west? I'm not a huge fan as the Wheat is unirrigated and the Clams won't be workable for a long time. Only a few grassland river tiles. On the plus side its got lots of hills and will be a natural site for a production city.

I'm okay with either spot...remember though GMs add an unhappy and we don't yet get any happy from the Incense. The Silk tile is going to be worth about 12 food and 12 commerce per turn in addition to the base yield.
