These stats are not representative of our position due to worker reassignment during revolt to screw with the other players.

Here is an overview of the lands. Soon we will chop our second forest of the game! smile

Changed the MM plan, going to give the sheep to USSR, it's a variant of the trick used to get the wb out for India. Going to slave it out at size 2 and pray that we land Henge otherwise it's going to screw with the MM massively and delay growth in that city. Also, going to go with 3 workers chopping and 2 quarrying for the safety, and because if we do lose Henge we are going to start cottaging hte capital (we are running slightly down on tile improvements atm...need to rectify that).

A turn tonight looks doubtful. I had a rather long chat with Novice about our offer. Most of the questions revolved around the city site, perhaps unsurprisingly. No decision one way or another from them. Hopefully if they ask to tweak the deal its in an area I am open to changing.

Did you get any indication how far the city site is from their capital?

When we first saw NoSpace, we just saw their borders. The next turn, their borders have expanded. Now, how many cities have NoSpace got?

So, they have three cities. Let's see which cities have how much culture:

So, only one city they had could have popped borders on that turn. Seaside. The borders that we see are not their capitals, so the proposed city site is much closer to our capital than it is to theirs. It is 6 tiles from our capital, and 5 tiles from Seaside. So most likely about 9 tiles from their capital.

*shrug* Everyone tends to think that their starting continent is there own. And with good reason, it makes staging an attack so much easier.

However, on this map I think we are all going to have to change out opinions on that one. There is no way for even a CRE civ to plant south of that gems and not get crushed by our culture. And we aren't going let anyone have a one move on our core. So either we get that city site and some maybe, just maybe, other stuff and they get OB...or we get that city site and we prepare for war. And they need OB with everyone to fully utilise GLH.

Do you mean culture on the sea tiles? You won't get culture on the land tiles unless it's the same continent (which might be the easiest way to tell whether plako connected the continents or not), but I'm sure you know that.

I'm waiting for Kyan or something to plant three cities in your SW before you notice. lol

We'll always have control of the ocean tiles so for the period of the game where it actually matters we'll always be able to one move any cities they put down there: the entirity of the western coastal waters are ours due to current culture. Sure, our culture shouldn't take over the land tiles but we din't need that considering how quickly we can settle down there. It's not like we are going to wait 20 turns to settle strategically important land.

Addendum: that is assuming that those spurs of land are not connecting the continents. I personally would not bet against those being long, twisty land bridges, and if that is htt case, then our culture will go over to claim that land.

What exactly is your naming scheme, again? I must have missed it. It seemed obviously countries, except the USSR doesn't exist anymore, so it must be some historical reference. I really don't see any connection between Brazil and India other than them both existing during the Vietnam War or something.
