Quote:Darrell: forum
I think the second dotmap, all the cities, have enough non-overlapping coastal tiles to store pop on
it saves the two land tiles
and it gets pink back onto coast (and back to fast copper)
Krill: Do you want to piss off Kyan?
Darrell: AT this poitn I don't see how I could
unless you mean old white dot's culture
Krill: yeah
also, second dotmap needs more worker attention and has less forests to chop for workers
Darrell: Main objective is to get the best city sites available
the only forest it loses is cyan dot
I thought about cyan one to the west to keep that forest
we can like pick up the forest north of the gold with gold city
Krill: actually, I like that.
That said
Darrell: oh
Krill: second dot map white is fugly
Darrell: one west is coast
It saves the two land tiles though
Krill: 1N of sheep?
uh
Darrell: oh yeah
Krill: second dot map white is too close to gree
Darrell: I was looking at the wrong picture
yours can't be moved 1W
well crap
Krill: have to move Cyan 1W and green 1W and then lose a grassland
Darrell: white one north too
get the grassland back
green and white share 12 coast
Krill: no
Darrell: cyan has a billon coast
Krill: white 1N loses fish
Darrell: grr
brazil one south then
Krill: ha
nice try
Darrell: so white stays put, green and cyan 1W
loses a grassland
posted
Krill: I need to start keep[ing track of the amount of times you get belittled in some way
Darrell: its less than the amount of time I give nospace free info
Krill: see if it is a greater number then the amount of times you give away free info
hahaha
Darrell: I like #3 better
Krill: giomme a mo just spilt a drink on desk
Darrell: gree dot is much better. cyan dot is much better, pink dot is faster ramping up
white dot is even better
Krill: it'll do
need green, white, orange and purple before HG
Darrell: faint praise from krill is like the pope tellilng you you're the holiest man he's ever met
yes
exactly right

Okay, so with the dotmap settled everything becomes easy. First, scouting info four our eastern Warrior:
That pattern looks so familiar . Now our western Warrior:
Any bets that the river tile 333 from my Warrior has Gold on it? Going to land our Settler on the island next turn:
The Warrior on the Dyes will go to defog one of nospace's cities. I have a whip overflow Warrior from Brazil that will garrison USA, and USA's Warrior will be the second garrison unit for Thailand (Dyes city). Japan will be settled next turn, and the Workers will mine the Copper that very same turn :
Demos, I remain concenred about our low CY+MFG .:
I have attached an update sandbox. It is the home stretch now, once HG is in I will retire the micro plan and start winging it .

Aren't we supposed to be getting about another 15 CY over the next 3 turns?
Actually tell a lie, it's over 20.
Wait, no, we're stacking whip unhappiness, so it's going to be significantly less.
Who cares

Have you decided on a Moai Statues location?

Grey, Purple, White, Orange or Blue are the current options, but as Moia isn't on the agenda for the next 20ish turns, that decision can be delayed until more information is available.

Looks like 10 cities with HG eot 59. I use 3 forests for the Settlers and 5 for the Aqueduct/Hanging Gardens (plus a 2 pop whip). Red, Purple, Cyan, White dots.

It can be done eot 58 with a crop yield of almost 100 .

The one time I feel I'm not in a race is probably the only time I'm in a race . For some reason I just think t58 is good enough to nail the Hanging Gardens. Okay, so some events for this turn, but let's start off with the scouting in the southwest:
Looks like I was wrong about another Gold resouce, but that is even better. I'd say our very next city is SE of the Gold. Scouting in the east:
Where does this thing end? Copper is connected:
Just in time, because we are settling next turn:
There is a second Warrior in the Galley. We now have nospace's graphs as well, starting with GNP:
They have more built-in culture than we do, so we've been teching better than they have I would think. MFG:
Not much to say here . They've been the clear leaders all along, which is fine by me because I'd hate to see a big MFG paired with a big crop yield:
If you integrate the curve we've done a bit better. They probably have Granaries everywhere, so there is little doubt we are getting massively out produced. Saving grace, if you can call it that, is they were forced to invest 174 hammers in The Great Lighthouse. Without Mathematics, that's like 13 forests. Even if they two pop whipped the Lighthouse they are still at 10 forests. I doubt they chopped that many, I bet its 6 chops and so like 56 raw hammers. I will be very curious to see what they did when the threads open up. One thing is for sure, they aren't building units:

This sets a record for a statement of mine becoming ironic .
