One thing I'm definitely going to do is find a way to delay the aqueduct whip.

I can get HG on eot57, but two cities don't found until t58. The two cities are northern clams/corn and red dot. If I found orange dot before red dot then it is on time. So basically should I shave a turn at the cost of moving red->orange and being late on the northern city?

There must be some way to speed that damn city by one turn.

I can make red dot work too! But I don't see a way to speed up the Settler out of India, which makes me think I shoudl just whip the Granary and overflow a Worker there.

Last time I reply to myself (well at least until I get the save) I promise! There is just no way to speed up purple dot, but I'm still going to found it. Shaving one turn off the HG time is worth losing one pop from Purple dot, espeically since I can use the Corn to grow into a whip. I have no clue if eot57 is going to win this race or not, but if we are going to be greedy with the city count its the best that can be done .

Okay I lied, one more reply :rolleyes:. I can bang this thing out in like four turns, but with just the current six cities. Its tempting.

You know there is an edit button. I think you should be more concerned with following your micro plan correctly than making the micro plan.

Go for more cities. If you miss going for HGs, it doesn't kill you because you expanded like you should've done.

Let's say HG just delays one city though? So the question is better shot at HG - 1 city but only 6 pop, or worse shot at HG with 9 pop?

If you need to delay for only one city, that is a pure judgment call. But if you are going to delay for one turn to found 2-3 cities, I think that is an easy decision to delay.
