Man Mist had a lot more than I thought he did. I went ahead with the same skeleton summoning trick as before. Even then I think I am going to lose some vampires this time around.

Okay, Skeletons/Spectres didn't do as good a job as normal. Skeletons were across the river. The good news is battles were all >80%. The weird news is about halfway in, Lucian popped up as a defender and the odds dropped to 22% huh. Not sure why he wasn't the top defender to begin with but it didn't seem necessary to risk a vampire on him. Here's what he has left:

I am not sure what Ilios is planning. We've done a waltz over working together but he's playing it pretty coy. Blight is coming up soon so I am drafting and feasting in my cities. No doubt the others are building health buildings, but I find the Calabim method of preparation more...fun devil. I'll also pop into Slavery/Sacrifice the Weak soon. If I can get Undercouncil for free I'll hold off and tech Deception as well. It is essentially a free Great Sage and cheap Gambling Houses after all.

Lucian is a world unit, which means he gets a reduced chance to defend the stack. That basically means his strength gets reduced by some percentage when calculating who the defender would be. I don't know specifics though.

Plan is to raze and force blight whilst my cities are at size 7/8. Empyrean holy city should just about do it I think smile.
