You know I'm looking at the screenshot and wondering what I was thinking. I need to get that idiot off the peak, but most of the attacks he can make won't end up in him moving banghead.

I assumed he had Blitz, and that's why you had stacks of several units in places... but he doesn't, does he?

I actually have a bunch of Workers and a Settler in a city with two Skeletons, and now you have me paranoid that he might have blitz yikes. I don't think he does, but I'm not 100% sure. With only four players the game is already back around to uberfish, but I won't be able to check for 24 hours.

Well, he doesn't have Blitz the promotion, as you can clearly see in the screenshot. His item may give him that ability, or he might have it inherently...you'd have to check the civilopedia. He seems to be getting March or maybe some heal-on-combat win ability from either the item or innately, since he's healed on every turn while moving.

I thought your bait referred to the skeleton 1S and the skeletons 2E of his current location, which will result in him moving off the peak and within range of a vampire stack. Of course, he could just choose to attack and then move back onto a peak tile. lol

All barb units in FfH effectively have March. This was added to strengthen the barbs, who were not very smart about standing around and healing.

That bastard!

He killed one of the two Adepts I remembered to promote to Scorch before Ilios canceled the Sun mana loan. Second, he's the only Adept near the raw mana node. Oh, its payback time hammer. First, this:

That's right, first Death mana node online. Many, many Spectres later:

Of course the first 3-4 Vampire are chicken, but finally one agrees to attack. Worth only 10 XPs, but I also get the Crown of Command:

Go me.

No cities are starving 3 turns into Blight. I lost...0 population due to Blight [Image: icon22.gif]. Hmm:

Still waiting for Ilios's sick power spike. I kinda hope he doesn't send that crap my way [Image: scared.gif]. Vampires are all tough and stringy, while fish is sooooo tasty plub.

Well done! How highly promoted are your vamps at the moment? Have you got many up to commando-like xp?

That's a good question. If I really am going to have 60 Vampires, half with Commando, by turn 160, I should probably start tracking progress nod. First off, Mobility, Death 2, C4 and Commando requires 7 promotions, 7^2+1 = 50 XPs is the target. Here is a histogram of my existing 26 Vampire's XPs:

Hmm. Its actually not possible I think. I need 1650 total XPs (assuming half have Commando and the other half are just Mobility/Death 2), which means I need another 1160 XPs to get there. I also need another 34 Vampires. Assuming an average city size of 20 city (so 17 XPs per feast) and 3 pop per draft, I need a total of 200 pop (98 from Feasting, 102 from drafting). From there I can burn three pop (one draft, two feasts) every 6 turns. With 13 cities, that works out to 31 turns to burn 200 pop. On top of that I need some time to grow up to size 20 (I'm guessing that's at least 20 turns). So 50t? That's a while. I think the morale of the story is I need to start building Vampires, and I need to be willing to stack feast unhappiness.
