If that Galley has units loaded on it (and it does), England is toast. I could not get any new units in their this turn. This guy:

Didn't settle this turn. If I go on the Horse I need defenders. If I go on the current spot, I need Workers. Basically, I need something. Its not like the city was giong to help me reach Metal Casting this turn either. Their power continues to rise:

I've now resigned myself to the fact England is dead because Darrell decided to move to chop instead of road...

That was indeed a mistake, although tbh with only on Archer in the city they can boat it anyway. If they don't boat it we could in theory save England at the cost of a few Workers.

I think you should be more concerned with not getting your cities razed than what you should name your subsequent cities at this point.
