Same exact spot of course:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU1w3pXuYkg about sums it up. I cashed rushed two Blood Pets to avoid losing any citiese, and moved about eight Vampires up from Horus. Turn log brought more great news:
I got aggressive with a Hunter last turn and moved him too close to some Lions. I figured I was going to lose him but now I've lost the ability to caputre animals . That pales in comparison with Nox Noctis. I knew it was coming, and I think I have an idea, but its unfortunate nonetheless. I sent this dotmap to uberfish so we can start dividing up Mist's old lands:

At least you didn't lose a city before you could react this time.

Pure luck. I've been pretty noob with the horsemen, I guess. Not knowing about Rage for example. I vaguely recall losing units in a similar way in an SP game, but never bothered to find out why. Live and learn . The current one's "trick" is Cannibalize. That makes mass summons less effective, perhaps ineffective (even with 5 death mana nodes). With uberfish and Hyborem at war, maybe we can prevent Ars from spawning (Prophecy of Ragnarok is driving up the AC quite a bit). He's got all kinds of nasty abilities, the worst of which is summoning a Wraith after each successful combat .
The good news is I'm pretty much drafting three Vampires per turn now (followed by Feast for Death II and Mobility). I can eventually replace what I've lost. Doesn't do a whole lot of good when I can't see any of uberfish's units, does it? On top of that, he'll have four Druids with Entangle before our NAP expires (t200). For some reason I thought he had to be in CoE for that particular effect to work, but nope .

Yeah, the main reason why you lost cities is simply not having enough bodies in your outlying cities. I did also look up the horsemen after Buboes spawned, and they have some interesting abilities, yes.
What are you going to do if Yersinia is immune to summon spam?

Cannibalize only works on living units, so death summons should work.

I remember trying the disband trick in SP, and the Moroi in question turned barbarian instead of being deleted (which actually seemed fairly well balanced, IMO). Did you have better luck with the disbanding?
What a bummer that you lost Losha Valas. I guess those horsemen are pretty dangerous after all. And nice avatar switch: if you can't beat them, join them?
