Also I don't know what you mean by being unable to change the engineer to an artist. Surely you can click the minus sign to change him to a citizen, then plus next to the artist row to make him an artist?

@NobleHelium: It doesn't work. You'd think it would, but the game doesn't move the Merc specialist around directly. When I click "+Artist," the game searches for a regular citizen to become an artist, CAN'T FIND ONE because they're all angry, and gives up. It doesn't matter if the Merc is an Engineer (which is what it had been in turns prior) or a Citizen.

Sry cyneheard. No compensation is forthcoming. I didn`t declare war or anything. We aggressively plant cities throughout this game and I feel this is a legit play. I look forward to hearing other opinions tho...

I have the save but as I have said elsewhere I am on the train, I will send it off a bit later.

Go ahead and play. The consensus is clear, and I reacted emotionally.
All I ask is that you consider VVV's border as being popped (i.e., that you can't move the Q 1N), because of the Merc bug when one has no happy people. I should have been able to pop that border.

We didn't agree that this shouldn't be done, but I feel it's a bit against an AP game...

Artillery's done, so I can't say I'm THAT out of it, but I don't see how I make up 12 turns in 30. I don't care if you get spoiled.
