And thanks to Dazed's computer issue, we're only just now back to playing; I just bulbed Philosophy, so I think I'm going to aim to slow-tech Nationalism and Liberalize Military Tradition for kicks and giggles.

No sir. No it does not. I wish you had not specified 30th
Nevertheless...

I saw in one of the tech threads that Dazed was back in action - some of 'youse guys' play more than a couple of games each, huh? Makes for some good
Slow-tech Nationalism, why not. Those Horse-guys'd be handy. Actually it does get a bit boring when folks (ie, competitors) *in the same game* make offhanded plans to bulb Nat from Lib but also fail to acknowledge the cliché while it's being discussed. (Not talking about anything specific, and I am dedlurking you in this game.)
May we please have a Cities screen, and Military, when you get a chance?

Okay, my loyal readers and Krill deserve a full-fledged update, so here we go.
Life proceeds apace here in Mirrorland. Dang lush map, mirrored, big, so we all grow and flourish. The usual bane of the SE economy means I can have great research or good crop, but not both at once. This is fair enough, I suppose, and I'm not too far behind on the stats that matter.
Krill is right about the criminally undergrown city of Vinson Massif, but I'm working to fix that. Hard not to work the mines, though, particularly when the hammers are needed. I'm nursing an overflow of 26 at the moment, so Vinson should be able to make a danged fast Taj.
Everest is probably the saddest capital I've had in a long time, and not through any fault of its own...I had a few happy issues, but with the market and soon a Taoist temple here, those should be gone for long enough for it to grow very nicely. I'll be in Bureau shortly, no worries, just waiting another turn for OR-power in a couple outlying areas to boost chops, then I'll pair it with Pacifism.
One of those outlying areas is the southwest, where Ben Nevis is founding next turn. Banana, plenty of grass, and a good border are all reasons for this city. If I can steal the Colossus here, I will, otherwise Ludwig will be planting a Great Work. Either way, this is my land.
In the southeast, I decided to let my library and culture building take the marble rather than engage the #3 guy Dazed. Nicolae waxes mighty, why would we fight and give him the win? It's annoying, but I'm getting my marble.
Moai are finally down in the northeast, and the cities here are big, mature, and bordered by puny ants. I like it that way. This needs to be a peaceful quadrant; the galley is just a little extra insurance that it stays that way.
Finally, here's the northwest and core. A couple more nice cities are marked, and then it's edging time. I have criminally neglected the building of riverside cottages, and it ought to bite me badly; but maybe I can get to Communism in time to make the watermill and workshop thing work instead.
...simply Lib'ing Nationalism like a non-crazy person might be wisest here.

Hey, Shaler is not actually a mountain name!
Also you screwed up the order of Fuji and Kerinci. Next few after Shaler are Ben Nevis, Barbeau, Rantemario, and Cook.

...a Barbeau:
...and finally, a Rantemario:
Which means yep, Cook is next. Also, when cook gets settled for shared rice/banana/dye, I'm out of peaceful mainland expansion room.
Or did you mean the whole Nationalism thing? Yeah, it's weaker than it could be, but Vinson is going to power me to a golden age like a boss.
This is a Good Thing, because Nicolae of the MoM just launched his own GA; we're neck and neck in beakers towards Lib, so this ought to be a fun race.
Made something else fun too.
Okay, now I need to figure out where to bomb/send horses.
Guy annoying me?
Or guy with courthouses?
Fun game!
