Another map script, this one's not mirrored: Torusland

Another question. Would it be possible to turn the more land based maps into a sort of highlands-lite map, so say the lakes water kevel also had ridge line peaks running through it?

Your wish is my command. File updated with a new map option for different percents of peaks.

The peak ranges are generated with the same system as the water bodies, so there are a lot of variables I can tweak other than just percent. So let me know if you would like:
* More or fewer separate groups of peaks
* Groups of peaks to tend towards a certain size range or avoid a certain size range
* Groups of peaks to be denser or snakier

Note: I don't consider a peak that's only diagonally adjacent to other peaks to be in the same group as them. Also, the script still places the occasional peak as usual during normal terrain generation, after placing the mountain ranges.

I wouldn't say it's a bug, but it might be a flaw in the design that inaccessible seafood are not penalized (I assume).

That's what I would call it too. I'm considering putting in the effort to fix that.

Yeah, the wineries are just there to pillage for money. The ice is there to screw with you. (Yay, it worked!) The mines are there to make you happy.
