He could load up those units and move straight towards Five Guys, and could pretty much get away with it. However, it also means certain doom for several of his cities. I highly, highly doubt that's worth it to him, it would be pretty much isnane. We shall see.

Ok, turn rolled and Commodore + Slowcheetah quickly played. Slowcheetah took our deal as expected.
Alright. We have 10T to prep for wave 2. We can keep an eye on his power to see if he's actually building up, but we have to assume so for now. In the meantime, I floated around with our caravel according to plan to see if there's any sign of Commodore: Nope. I'll probably float back north next turn to make sure he doesn't come from that way. This is super imprecise as we can't cover enough water here (darn you Pin for veto'ing my Commodore sentry net ), but it's not like we have another option. In the meantime, we should use the next 4-5 turns to swing everything towards Commodore to be safe. If there's no sign of him during that time, we can go back to a more normal slowcheetah setup. FYI - I didn't move anything besides the Caravel because I didn't have much time.
Also yes, for those scoring at home we just got attacked by someone significantly ahead of us in tech, power, pop, and cities, and we came out +1 in cities. Don't mess with Zulu.
It's only when you get attacked by someone with less resources than you that you have to worry, right?

This game has had not even the slightest hint of logic, reason, or expected outcomes. Well I guess except for Plako running away with things, that's not too surprising. And I understated our war slightly - we came out +1, but Slowcheetah came out -2.
Well, I think slowcheetah played his war a bit too cautiously.
I moved two units to get Domino's out of unhappiness. I think most our decision making needs to be between how much infrastructure we can slot in while getting Chemistry. At current 80% science we make 589bpt, and -23gpt but that's with a lot of wealth builds. That means we can generate about 8500 beakers by the time the 2nd golden age ends in 12 turns. Finishing Gunpowder and teching Chemistry will cost us 7800 beakers. But if we could also add some Courthouses and a few Observatories it'd be nice to do. I'd like to move our spy over to Trafalgar. Being able to see into Paris & Trafalgar both would be helpful for keeping tabs on slowcheetah.

Not really an option since we don't have Open Borders. Unless we use a Caravel, which we don't have much of right now. We should re-offer OB with slowcheetah though IMO.
Rheims needs to be renamed.
