Since you are not going to do it (provocation?), sim it and post here if you have time. At least I would be interested.
EDIT: Because I would like to now how big the contrast is.

If you have spare time Krill, go ahead and continue your sim until T50 or some turn where Kuro has posted a good overview shot (+ demos). Meanwhile I'm not contributing at all

I did a single run through until T62. It's trivial to get more cities, pop and workers than him. The biggest problem is actually the tech speed, so many beakers needed: I can get everything done better with an eta on the GLH around about a few turns after when he expected to get it done, but ultimately, the GLH at that start just isn't easy to reach unless you either get pottery and ignore food techs, or get food techs and ignore pottery. Personally, I'd have been fairly happy ignoring pottery and using the 3 seafood and the lakes to drive short term commerce, and without the happiness to really slave hard, granaries are over rated as first large items in each city with the surfeit of food available.

Quick pointers: settling 1E is viable, as is WB first if settling in place. If the aim is to show you can build the GLH by T60 then I think you need to actually ignore Hunting.

You could ignore pottery, or BW. Just too many beakers needed. Other choice is to just not go for the GLH (which I would likely have done) and outgrow everyone and build hordes of HA.
Then found out Commodore screwed me out of horses and bitch.
