Some random predictions. I haven't really looked at the geography yet i.e. which team is positioned where in the map.

Orgynized has problems in diplomacy despite of LP's skills in that department. LP will bail out after he notices they can't win and Arkipeller takes charge of things. Will be eliminated.

Blame Caledorn playes solid but unimpressive game. They'll be 2nd in score at the end.

Master&Margarita - Maga runs the diplo show while Slaze manages the diplomacy. This team will form a winning alliance and strongest memeber of it i.e. win the game.

civ playingBears - They'll occupy in the middle of the pack position and have troubles handling diplomacy. Will go along without allying anyone.

My Little Marathon Cannibal Pony - No chance. Will be the weakest member of the winning alliance.

Bowsling/Aivoturso - Middle of the pack material. Have decent understanding on civ, but lack in MP and diplo skills. Will finish 4-5th.

Dick76 / DMOC - DMOC will run the show at 1st without Dick. ~70T DMOC gives up and Dick will run the game solo. Team will end up eliminated. I know DMOC already from the 1st demo game. He was very young back then so things might have changed quite a bit. He has the civ skills, but diplo was the problem at least back then and he also gave up too easily.

Eagles&Condors - Gets early lead with solid Micro management that will put target on their backs that will get them dogpiled ~T150. They won't get eliminated, but when the game is finished will end up in 4-5th place.

Barteq / Geo - They won't do much diplo. Will end up allied with Maga.

Team Dinosaurs - They won't do much thread updating wink. I've no idea about these so can't really predict anything.

Having everybody confirm that they've read and understood the rules is a pretty good idea.
I have to run.

Pretty useless too. They all just clicked through the EULA to get to the game they wanted to play. I'm sure at least one of them got their cat to click "I accept" for them. What rules? wink

There may be a contradiction here... mischief

Remember, these aren't CFCs best players, unless ou consider the Maga/Jozan/Slaze team to be made if CFC players. I don't think, honestly, that any of CFC's best players play mp. CFC has a whole tier that does stuff that still drops my jaw. Give them an interest in mp and a little experience, and there are only a few people that I'd bet against them.
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.
