That and we're gearing up for our own little turn split

You know this thread has been very quiet lately. Clearly we need another...

Took a peek after I saw you played the turn. Barb axes incoming! We're going to need to get more axes ourselves to defend, especially since we're using most of our current axes for Operation Gold Rush. Horses are going to help there a lot.
Or we could build a Great Wall. It'd be a 5 turn build in Orioles after that archer finishes...
I swapped a tile in Orioles so we were working the most hammers and could finish the archer this turn. That frees up both axes without giving us unhappiness.

Oh I see how it is. You guys have a secret plan and can't be bothered to tell me. Pfft.
And yeah, build the Great Wall, preferably somewhere where the GPP will be useful later. i.e. some place where we'll build more wonders.

Yeah I didn't get a chance to post screenshots from it, but I saw that axe too, and Great Wall jumped to mind again. Barbs have been pretty brutal.
Nakor also settled a new city. I looked around but couldn't tell exactly where it was. I suspect he may have settled for rice north of his capital, but I don't know for sure.
Noble - I don't think our plans are secret? We've explained them right?

He's assuming i've continued to plan at my previously fervent pace. I haven't done any planning since last week. Probably should but to be honest i've been a bit lacking in motivation since i re-injured my leg
Edit: For current cities the capital has the best long-term GP pool potential. I could see us building it in the capital on eot81 at the earliest realistic turn. Orioles would complete it eot78, although that city could be a gp farm later if we end up farming everything

I hate running and will think of anything that I can to keep my brain engaged on anything other than the pain that my flabby body is feeling while I run. Thinking through turns does the trick for me if it is an especially nasty problem to solve. This is more strategic level than micro level, though. Sometimes I'll figure out troop movement/positioning, but counting hammers and beakers is beyond me without the game being right in front of me. You back of the napkin or in your head math guys are impressive to me.
