From my PoV they both kinda suck...definately readable, but still blurry.
I always got around that by setting CIV to 1024*768 (and in windowed mode) for screenshots...

Yeah, they are both garbage. I don't get why there is no resize option for a widescreen image size . I like your workaround though, although a quick Google search makes it seem like you can't just pop in and out of windowed mode.

Yeh, have to restart civ to get into windowed mode, and at max size it actually screws up the fonts ingame (Firaxis knew about that before BtS got released and never did anything). It is possible to get CIV to ask you every time you start the program if you want to enter in windowed mode though, by changing an .ini line though. From that you can then change the resolution in game.

Nice  .
Shall we circle the Warrior around the BFC? I guess we want to make sure we don't stray so far away that a Warrior coming out of the fog ends our game .

So I'm thinking that after picking up
Fishing, Agriculture, Hunting, AH, Fishing
if the Oracle is still available we head Med->Phood->Writing->Monarchy and try for a Feud slingshot. Possibly Writing first to get those scientists up - obviously if we get Phood first that's a 20% bonus but our limiting factor is likely going to be our speed to research Monarchy.
I don't think Oracling anything less than Feudalism will be worth the potential prophet.

I think we need Pottery next. Did you leave out Mining -> Bronze Working on purpose? I don't even think we know for sure Hunting before Mining is the best choice. I can't see us waiting so long to start The Oracle and actually landing it, but Priesthood is a really cheap tech and gives an additional discount to Writing, so we should at least sim it out.

No - just forgot Mining / BW. When you say Pottery next, do you mean after Mining / BW (possibley Hunting / AH)?

Yes. I am currently thinking one of these:
Agriculture -> Fishing -> Hunting -> AH -> Mining -> BW -> Pottery
Agriculture -> Fishing -> Hunting -> Mining -> AH -> BW -> Pottery
Agriculture -> Fishing -> Mining -> Hunting -> BW -> AH -> Pottery
After that I'd like to start on Writing -> Mathematics -> Currency. The question I guess is do we want to go Meditation -> Priesthood first and make an Oracle run...
