Man, Mindy sure puts a lot of effort into metagame theory. Especially considering he/she/it isn't even playing the game!

That whole continent (WillLP, Bacchus, Retep, Icky, Cheetah) may never see peace the way things are going. ...for all the talk of PB8-redux, those folks are doing pretty well at changing their fate.

Well what he needs to do is settle a city NW-NW-E of his capital which would split off both of the pigs. I mean there is technically no point in working food resources if you're just going to grow into unhappiness. I agree Plako should eventually overcome Dhal, but to be fair the position he inherited wasn't great.

Basically, high-food tiles should always be worked no matter what. If you are in a position where you are unable to use them productively, then you are doing something seriously wrong for quite a while.
Also, this kind of city-micro was by no means forced. Look at his thread, Molach got it fixed easily after he took over.

We think Plako has it in the bag, but I don't think anyone else went for it.

TBH that's not surprising, I think a lot of players undervalue wonders in the mod.
