If you get yourself stuck by opening a diplo window while it's paused, you will always be unstuck on the next login. It's only the real diplo windows that are harder to get rid of.

And I'm sure that as soon as I say this, about 12 uppity Tommy Topper, one-uppers will drop by to say that they, in fact, have never done any such thing because they are so unbelievably awesome. And in the process they will further spam up your thread, much to your delight. I once spoke to a guy who claimed that he had never misclicked before and everyone promptly laughed at him. Then we played a game where he made a really stupid move and he had to say that he meant to make that move instead of it being a misclick.

Seriously, in next PB the lurkers need to have a betting pool to see who gets stuck in the diplo window first.

Logged in and grabbed the city counts, pop counts for visible cities, and technology situation. Rankings come tomorrow when I can digest that information a bit. But some people I thought were doing well, clearly aren't managing an economy as well as I thought they would be.
I made all the obvious moves with workers, which means if they were in the middle of something I had the action go through and marked it with a sign. Otherwise everything is untouched. Take note of lewwyn & plako starting to spike in power. Lewwyn whipped 5 times last turn, and plako revolted to vassalage and slavery thsi turn. plako has knights, and dhalphir doesn't even have Feudalism -- we saw how quick a war that can be -- and lewwyn doesn't have guilds, but he does have engineering, so I'm guessing some combination of CKNs with pike support. So my question is do we scatter some catapult builds in? For example, at the capital instead fo this settler? We get stone online in 2 turns, at which point I think we should look at building Notre Dame. For now a settler fits nicely because we can scoot him over this way: Who wants to dotmap? And in the NFC North, we had our workboats finish and i started courthouses Lots to do for the turn still, and I should have power rankings up tomorrow.

1N of wheat and either 2W of clam and on the small island, or 2W of fish. Depends on whether you want to plant a city on the small island or not. Planting 2W of the clam saves a grassland that we would otherwise waste. We need to plant on the hill on the west shore for defensive purposes. I guess the other option is 1S of the lake and 2W of the fish, planting one off coast intentionally to eliminate exposure to boating.
I think I would go for 1N of the wheat and 2W of the fish.

You could try to gut Lewwyn with Beserkers if he sends the bulk of his army at you or you could try and make him split his forces with a small amount of beserkers and a bunch of empty galleys sailing around his stuff.

All our zerkers are on the west coast right now. I suppose we could make one at the capital and at Boilermakers to get started on some more
